Welcome to Lionel Geneen Ltd. We are antiques dealers located in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth and have been established locally since 1902. We have a wide variety of stock comprising mainly 19th and early 20th Century decorative English, Continental and Oriental furniture, china, glass, pictures and objects. Our stock also includes bronzes, enamels, ivories and jades with some art nouveau and art deco.
We are the oldest and longest established firm of antiques dealers in the Bournemouth area, originally founded in 1902 by Maurice Geneen. The business was then continued by his son Lionel and is now run by his son Robert Geneen.
A visit to the showroom is certain to be an enjoyable experience and its hard to believe that any antiques lovers would be unable to discover something to their taste amongst the extensive and attractive stock.
As well as selling antiques we are also able to provide help and advice regarding insurance inventories and the disposal of collections, household contents or single items. We are always interested in purchasing items for stock.
The showroom is open five and a half days a week with a half day on Saturday. It is always advisable that you call in advance as from time to time Robert is required to meet with clients away from the shop. We can also arrange appointments for evenings and weekends.
Where ever possible we will be pleased to arrange for clients to see items in their own homes before deciding on a purchase.
